The Yukon Hat pattern is one of The Knitty Pine’s most popular patterns.
The Yukon Hat was designed for the weekend adventurer. It features an extended brim knit with fisherman’s rib to create dimension and texture in the hat. The body of the hat is knit with stockinette and the amount of slouch is customizable.
Knit with 100% merino wool it is comfortable to wear all day long in many weather conditions. The hat sample has travelled and adventured around the Yukon Territory, Canada with The Knitty Pine.

Hat is designed with 5” |12.75 cm of negative ease.
Gauge: 4” | 10 cm = 17 stitches x 25 rounds in fisherman’s ribbing on 4.5 mm | US 7 needles.
Recommended Needles:
4.5 mm | US 7, 16” (40 cm) circular and DPN.
5.5 mm | US 9, 16” (40 cm) circular and DPN.
