Mt. Pleasant is the first blanket pattern by The Knitty Pine. The blanket was originally made from stash yarn as a baby gift but the pattern was repeatedly requested. Mt. Pleasant is a fairly easy knit using worsted weight yarn. The blanket is knit from the center top with a garter tab and uses various increases and decreases to create the rectangular shape. It is knit with three colours of yarn, but there are no rules you have to stick to just three, the combinations are endless! The Mt. Pleasant blanket is also a perfect backdrop for all those adorable baby pictures.
