The Bristolcone hat is a slouchy hat that’s perfect for those in between seasons. It’s lightweight and made with 100% merino worsted weight wool. It’s a beginners knit hat that does not look like a beginners pattern. The Bristolcone is a simple design that uses texture to create interest. It’s knit with the wrong side facing but as a bonus it really is a reversible design. This unisex hat is sure to get a lot of wear.

Hat is designed with 5” |12.5 cm of negative ease.
Gauge:
4” | 10 cm = 23 stitches x 32 rounds in broken rib stitch on 4.5 mm | US 7 needles.
Recommended Needles:
3.75 mm | US 5, 16” (40 cm) circular and DPN.
4.5 mm | US 7, 16” (40 cm) circular and DPN.
Recommended Yarn:
